Ben had a Q & A on facebook read it here
Interview from here
Q. You’re familiar with this slice of American history from the British perspective, but did anything during filming surprise you?
A. I had no idea that Sam Adams, John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, George Washington, Paul Revere, Thomas Jefferson and John Hancock had literally been in the same room at one point, plotting how best to go about achieving their goals. I think you assume they’re from slightly different eras if you are like me and don’t know any better.
Next month you’ll be seen in “Seventh Son.” More swordplay?
Yes, Jeff Bridges plays this fantastically grizzly, grumpy but also quite broken fighter of evil, and Julianne Moore is this beautifully dramatic and saucy witch. It’s about the battles within every individual between goodness and evil, and the debate between destiny and free will.
Another interview can be read here
EMMA BROWN: How much did you know about the American Revolution? I grew up in London and I knew very little about it. It’s not something you really learn about in school.
BEN BARNES: I also knew very little about it. Obviously you hear about these characters; you know about George Washington and Benjamin Franklin and John Hancock—your John Hancock. But if I’m being really honest, I didn’t know they were all alive at the same time. Three of them became president, and several of them are on different dollar bills, and you think, “Well, they can’t all have been working towards the same goals at the same time.” And they were. For me, it was really exciting reading the script because I didn’t even really know how or where the story was going, which might have come across as quite ignorant. But I think that’s part of the reason I was so excited to do it.

Ben revealed: “I finally, finally, finally after about 10 years, I’ve finally been allowed to play the tough guy and I was so excited!
“But it was so geeky the way I was flicking through books of fake tattoos going ‘Ooh!’ not at all gruff.
“But once I got into it I found myself walking around the streets of Boston, kind of staring at people, trying to find myself some trouble! You just kind of immerse yourself in these worlds, it’s pretty incredible some of the adventures we get to go on as actors.
“Not so much in the adventure films, which I’ve done quite a bit of, but when things are bit more true to life you can go and find people that are similar to the people you’re hoping to play and immerse yourself in their world for a little bit.”

It’s only a few days away from The Seventh Son filming to begin so lets hope we get some on set pictures but for now at least we know they are having a good time.
JUST SPOTTED: Games of Thrones star Kit Harington danced the night away with fellow Brit Ben Barnes at Sayers Club on Thursday night (March 1) in Hollywood, Calif.
The twosome had a good time with actress pals Zelda Williams and Skyler Shaye.
“Everyone was having such a blast and letting loose,” a clubgoer tells JustJared.com. “Everyone threw their hands up in the air when a remixed version of Gotye‘s ‘Somebody That I Used To Know‘ came on.”

Variety reports that Barnes is in line for the title role (the same one Sam Claffin was once in talks for) which is described as “the seventh son of a seventh son” who learns all things wizard-related. Posted by Tsaress with Comments Off on The Big Wedding and Fake Ben Barnes Accounts
As many sites as this one have stated again and again Ben does not have facebook or twitter please do not be taken in. The latest facebook I will not link is a fake.
Ben confirmed in a video interview a few months ago he does not have twitter or facebook.
Thought I would give a few points on how to spot a fake.
Check the layout is it proffessicial are they using a personal picture or is it one that be got from anywhere. Silly graphics/background normally scream fake. If it’s a twitter account are they officially verfied do other verfied actors etc reply to them. Do they have a offiicial website that is linked to the twitter or facebook. Do fansites link to the account and say it’s official. What type of pictures do they post are they pictures that can be got from anywhere. Do they post at weird times e.g when they would be asleep or working or in another country.
For explain on a good verfied account Let’s take Alex Meraz who plays Paul in New Moon and Eclipse he opened a twitter account and the 3rd tweet he posted he put a picture with a sign with his twitter address on it. Then other known verfied actors replied to him and finally he was verfied account and has his myspace and twitter linked to his official site.
I hate the fact their are fakes.
Nice little comment about Ben from http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk
“Ben Barnes was the star – a friendly, charming guy. He chatted to everyone and kept asking me all about Scotland and could even do a great Scottish accent.
Article of The Big Wedding http://www.latinheat.com
Patrica Rae, known for her memorable role in the critically acclaimed award-winning film Maria Full Of Grace, was cast to co-star in the comedy film The Big Wedding.
Rae will portray “Madonna Sotto”, the biological Ecuadorian mother of Alejandro Griffin played by British actor Ben Barnes.
She joins one of Hollwyood’s most prestigious cast including Robert De Niro, Diane Keaton, Susan Sarandon, Katherine Heigl, Amanda Seyfried, Topher Grace, Ben Barnes and Robin Williams.
De Niro and Keaton play a divorced couple who, for the sake of their adopted son (Ben Barnes)’s wedding and his believed to be conservative biological Latin mother (Patricia Rae), pretend they are still married. Evidently, they quickly learn that acting the part isn’t as easy as they thought it would be.
